For the past couple of weeks Kyrie has been thinking really hard about walking. She will let go of whatever she’s hanging onto, look towards her end goal, and take one step, then fall down on her knees and crawl turbo speed instead. She has no problem walking if she is hanging onto your hands, or onto her push car, but just couldn’t get up the courage to take more than one step alone….UNTIL TODAY! I got to daycare and the ladies told me she had a new trick to show Mama. Sure enough, she stood up, let go of Denise’s hands, and took 4 steps as fast as she could toward my arms and then dove forward into me! It was pretty awesome to see her walk, but at the same time Mama almost wanted to cry because it is just one more sign that she is growing up so fast.
