Photo Sesh, Whoa Mamarazzi!

Yep, mama decided to go a little camera crazy one day and couldn't stop taking pictures of my poor tortured baby. Here are some of the results...

Meeting Cousin Hadley: October 22nd, 2011

We took a day trip to Bozeman to meet Lindsey and Ryan's new baby girl, Hadley Ruth Anderson. She was born on Oct. 12th. I've know Linds since we roomed together in college. At this point she pretty much counts as my sister since we're basically an extension of the Reinhardt family here in Billings too ;) It will be so fun to watch our girls grow up together! I'm already dreaming up "family vacations"...

October 15th, 2011: Mom's Weekend in AZ!

I had my 1st trip away from my little girl this weekend. It was SOOO hard for me to leave, but I knew she was in good hands spending the long weekend with Dad! I ventured out to Phoenix for my friend Brooke's bachelorette party weekend and we ended up having a great time. We baked in the sun by the pool, ate some great food that we don't get much of in Montana, spent a night out in Scottsdale, and did some shopping. It was a fantastic girls weekend! Thanks, ladies, and Dad, for taking such great care of my baby while I was gone :)

Kyries 6-month Birthday: Sep 27th

Our first 6 months with Kyrie has flown by! I never knew being a mom would be so amazing. I have enjoyed every moment--yes, even the ones spent crying in the middle of the night J which, by the way, have been few & far between because we’ve been blessed with such an amazing sleeper. Unfortunately, the cone-head from a vacuum delivery and this super-sleeping has contributed to a flat spot on her head that ended up needing corrected with a helmet. So, shes been sporting her new headgear since September 7th and has adjusted really well to it, minus a few million middle of the night wake ups for the first week or so. We’re hoping that we can take the helmet off as one of her X-mas presents and perhaps burn it for firewood!  Her latest tricks include sitting up and playing unsupported, eating mama’s homemade baby food, and saying dadadada dada da da. It’s a shame those D’s are so much easier to say than M’s, but I do love watching Jaspur glow when she says it.
The casting...poor baby :(
The final product, much happier!

Visiting Great-Grammy Ann in Great Falls: Sep 24th

We took a quick day trip to visit Jaspur’s Grandma Ann since we had to miss her b-day party a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure that Kyrie gets her beautiful blue eyes from her and my Grandpa Bill!  As soon as the stroller passed the threshold of the door to the nursing home, Kyrie had a complete meltdown, which I have only see one other time (when we tried to take her to Red Lobster with Grandma Patty!). If I stepped in the door she cried, and out of the door she calmed down. It was pretty funny actually, so we ended up having a nice afternoon hanging outside on a blanket in the shade. Great grammy even taught us a new song, “Love you little, love you big, love you like a little PIG!”

First Football Game, GO CATS! Sep 17th

Jaspur took Kyrie to her 1st football game with Grandma & Grandpa Kolar on Sep 17th in Bozeman while I was at a baby shower. Dad said she was an angel for about one quarter until they started shooting off cannons and playing loud music and she eventually had a meltdown so he had to leave. Thanks for trying though, Dad!
